Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. The role involves caring for a group of 8-13 students in a family-like home, with duties spanning supervision, mentoring, scheduling, wellness, and spiritual activities.

The position starts with a nine days on/three days off schedule, with potential placement into a fixed home. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement options, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role; couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapons-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limits: fish and one dog of approved breeds only.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
