Milton Hershey School is seeking a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on our on-campus homes. You will supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, manage routines, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

Initially, couples work a nine-on, three-off schedule, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Salary per person is $46,917 with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Aufgaben

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
