Job summary

The Town of Florence is seeking a firefighter to protect life and property through firefighting and rescue operations, including specialized responses such as hazmat, confined-space, and technical rescues. You will provide EMS care per your certification and participate in ongoing training and academy requirements.

Candidates must be at least 18, be a US citizen, possess a high school diploma or GED, hold a valid Arizona driver’s license, and demonstrate English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• US Citizen or eligible to work in the US.
• High School diploma or GED (or higher).
• Valid AZ driver’s license or equivalent."
• Ability to read and speak English.
• College is preferred but not required.
