Job summary

Gorham House in Gorham, ME is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time evening shifts (2:30PM – 11:00PM) with every other weekend preferred. Responsibilities include vital signs, daily care, and supporting residents under RN/LPN supervision.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year clinical experience; CNA licensure per state requirements. English proficiency and basic computer skills are required; commitment to resident dignity and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or related experience or training.
• 1+ years experience in Clinical/Nursing or related field.
• CNA licensure required per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and intake/outtake.
• Recognize abnormal changes and report to supervisor.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Transfer, position and turn residents; provide skin care.
• Contribute to assessment and plan of care; follow supervisor’s schedule.
• Provide emotional and social support; protect resident rights and dignity.
