Job summary

The Albuquerque Academy Custodial Department is seeking an individual for the position of Custodian. This position is responsible for working independently and as a team member to provide cleaning services for all campus facilities. The currently available shift is from 3:00PM to 11:30PM.

Albuquerque Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. A valid Driver’s License is required. Periodic overtime may be required. Prior custodial experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures in English.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, stairs, and other surfaces.
• Clean and service restrooms.
• Strip, wax, and polish floors as required.
• Assist with event set up and takedown for campus events.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed.
