Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for 2nd shift at the Lake Ariel facility.

The role involves supporting clients in a structured behavioral health program, with intake support, treatment engagement, and documentation duties. The position offers a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule with a starting wage of $17.00/hour and potential up to a $1.50/hour shift differential based on the shift worked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.
• Previous mental health, substance use, or residential treatment experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience facilitating groups or activities is a plus.
• Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Stay calm and professional during crises.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake for new clients entering the program.
• Positively engage with clients and provide support throughout treatment.
• Maintain accurate client logs and shift communications.
• Listen to and respond to client concerns and needs.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, therapeutic environment.
• Assist with crisis intervention and client interventions as appropriate.
• Coordinate and support client activities and programming.
• Follow daily treatment schedules and treatment plan objectives.
• Monitor medication lines and maintain organized processes.
• Conduct searches during intake or as policy requires.
• Monitor client safety and promptly communicate concerns to staff.
