Job Summary

Tapestry in Lake Ariel, PA is seeking Full‑Time Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for the 2nd Shift. The 2nd Shift runs from 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, five days per week, with varying days.

Pay: $17 per hour plus a shift differential of up to $1.50 depending on the shift worked.

The Behavioral Health Technician is crucial to our daily functioning, engaging patients, supporting daily treatment programming, and more. We believe recovery is a right, not a privilege.

Job Duties

• Assist with intake process with new clients into program.
• Communicate with staff either verbally or in communication logs, responsible for detailed client logs.
• Listen to clients concerning all areas of treatment, maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
• Coordinate activities.
• Conduct mandatory bed checks as required per department, complete bed‑check sheet for shift reporting.
• Ensure client schedule is being followed daily.
• Assist with interventions with clients.
• Follow objectives of treatment plans.
• Monitor medication line.
• Conduct searches upon intake or required searches.
• Monitor treatment for necessary safety and medical needs.
• Uphold therapeutic boundaries and staff code of ethics.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Some mental health experience – this can be an entry level role.
• Experience facilitating groups or activities preferred but not required.
