Job description

Join one of the fastest-growing trust and estate firms in the Carolinas. This is a high-accountability, performance-driven role for an attorney who wants to directly impact their income and the firm’s growth. We are seeking an attorney who is comfortable discussing fees and asking for engagement decisions in real time with a track record of meeting or exceeding conversion or revenue goals. You will play a critical role in protecting families with customized estate planning solutions.

If you’re motivated to excel, driven to be the best in your field, and eager to lead and magnify others while building a successful career, we want to hear from you. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on competition, is passionate about continuous learning, embraces challenges, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional results. This role is not focused on generating your own leads. Our firm provides a consistent pipeline of qualified prospective clients and your role is to guide, advise, and convert.

This is more than just a legal position; it’s a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced team with significant potential for growth and advancement. Here, success is rewarded for those who excel at driving firm growth and revenue by leading with vision, collaborating effectively, and fostering a cohesive, results-driven team environment.

Job Responsibilities

Crafting tailored estate plans, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

Design and collaborate with paralegals to provide meticulously detailed estate plans to address every aspect of a client's wishes and financial needs.

Collaborating with paralegals and support staff to ensure A+ service is delivered to every client.

Participating in networking events and leading seminars or webinars to educate the community about our services.

Qualifications

Licensure in North AND South Carolina (North Carolina a must).

5 plus years practicing law in an area where you regularly conducted initial meetings with clients and subsequently provided legal services for them.

Estate planning experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Excellent at connecting with people and getting them excited about what we do, ensuring clients feel confident and eager to work with us.

Strong attention to detail is essential for success in this role. Candidates must be highly detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy in all aspects of their work.

The ability to learn and use different software tools relevant to the estate planning field. These could include legal document generation software, research tools, and client management systems.

Salary and Bonus: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus a generous performance-based bonus structure. Compensation is tailored based on experience and qualifications, with monthly bonus opportunities tied to collected revenue and individual production. Bonuses are uncapped, providing significant earning potential for high-performing attorneys.

Benefits: Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Health Insurance and 401(k).

Estate Planning Perks: Enjoy assistance with creating your own estate planning documents.

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates and will be considered on an individual basis.

You will also be asked to attend meetings, training sessions, or firm events at either office. In addition, you will be actively involved in networking groups and be expected to participate in seminars and community events. Please note that this may occasionally include evening or weekend commitments.

Are you ready to be part of something meaningful? If you're excited to contribute to a fast-growing firm and thrive in a people-first role, we want to hear from you.
