The Role:
The Enrollment Trainer provides initial and ongoing instructional support for the enrollment department within the Indianapolis market. The Enrollment Trainer also provides insight into the intricacies of all systems used to move students through the enrollment process and cycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Enrollment Specialists in meeting or exceeding conversion goals during all phases of the enrollment funnel (application, financial aid completion, registration, paid status, class start) by providing an all-encompassing new and ongoing employee training program.
- Understand the various demographics of Ivy Tech students and how to best approach, engage, and respond to each unique applicant for a positive outcome and extrapolate the knowledge into action.
- Teach and train new employees on all aspects of the Enrollment Specialist role, including, but not limited to, communication cadence and expectations, Ivy Connect, Signal Vine, Banner, Microsoft Outlook and Teams, etc.
- Demonstrate the urgency and focus needed for an Enrollment Specialist's success.
- Identify Enrollment Specialists' deficiencies and plan training(s) to assist in improving job performance
- Develop materials as necessary for the effective delivery of content. Instigate and follow through on evaluation processes that determine the viability of every training session delivered. Ensure that arrangements are made to provide facilities, materials, and equipment necessary for the effective delivery of instruction. Assist in the identification of facility and equipment needs.
- Participate in training and professional development as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree required.
- Minimum of three years working in a higher education (or related), recruitment/Admissions environment.
- Must possess the ability and willingness to travel in the performance of assigned duties.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the training field.
- CRM experience
