Job summary

New Vista of the Bluegrass Inc. is seeking an Enrichment Center Instructor in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on active treatment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting independence and skill-building.

You will plan community outings, coordinate client events, and support multiple departments to ensure smooth scheduling and activities. Strong organization and Office software skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check. (No felony, violent crime or Pending court dates)
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Enrichment Center Instructor provides active treatment programs to enhance the lives of the adult clients who reside at Bingham Gardens.
• You will work directly with clients to promote independence and skill building to fulfil client specific goals.
• Plan client events such as birthday parties, holiday events and cooking classes.
• Provide, schedule and attend community outings.
• Attend client meetings and provide updates/notes for meeting minutes.
