Job summary

Surepoint Medical Centers in Richardson, TX seeks a patient-facing front desk specialist focused on delivering exceptional service to patients, families, vendors, and insurers. You will verify insurance, post data accurately and handle charges and co-pays with care.

You will answer phones, manage appointments, and assist with medical records requests while upholding HIPAA guidelines and maintaining a calm, high‑quality workflow in a busy clinic. CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Customer Service experience.
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification.

• Flexibility with schedule; including day, evening and weekend hours as needed.
• Experience with data entry and cash handling.

Primarily responsible for effective customer service for all facilities, patients, vendors, insurance companies, referral sources and co-workers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures and insurance.

General Purpose:

Customer relations; accurate posting of data entry and batch/cash drawer balancing; time management; efficient verification of insurance plans and effectively communicating to patients their financial responsibility.

Role Qualifications:

Must partner with clinical and management team to provide patients and their families with excellent service.
