Job summary

Support for Early Learning & Families (SELF) seeks an experienced ECEAP SD-Wrap Assistant Teacher for a full-time role in Vancouver, WA. You will work under the Lead Teacher and Center Director to provide safe, engaging classroom experiences for 3–5 year olds in a full-day program.

You will assist in curriculum implementation, documentation, and family engagement, contributing to a nurturing, respectful learning environment with diverse families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Equivalent of 12 college quarter credits in early childhood education.
• Initial or higher Washington State Early Childhood Education Certificate.
• A current CDA credential awarded by the Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classroom materials and provide direct services for children 3–5 years old.
• Help implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
• Assist in documentation using program databases and tools.
• Support parental involvement in educational planning and activities.
