Child Care Action Council is seeking an ECEAP Teacher in Washington to lead the classroom team, implement approved curricula, and ensure high-quality early learning experiences. The role emphasizes safety, family collaboration, and program compliance with state standards.

The position involves planning lessons, observing children, documenting progress, and coordinating with partners to support each child’s growth and readiness for school.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and two years of early childhood experience.
• Experience with ECEAP, Head Start, or state Pre-K programs preferred.
• Must meet all DCYF and ECEAP health, safety, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences reflecting children’s interests and needs.
• Implements Creative Curriculum with fidelity and aligned activities.
• Develops weekly lesson plans and documents progress for each child.
• Uses Teaching Strategies GOLD to observe, document, assess, and individualize progress.
• Delivers Second Step social-emotional lessons and embeds related strategies.
• Maintains accurate child assessment documentation and records.
