Metropolitan Family Services is hiring a full-time Program Aide at the Learning and Wellness Center and Midway Children's Center in Chicago to support early childhood programs and families.

The role collaborates with a teaching team, assists with activities for ages 0-3 and 3-5, and reports to the Site/Education Supervisor. The position offers an hourly rate of $17.05–$18.00 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a team approach to planning and implementing program activities.
• Assists in ongoing CLASS implementation.
• Helps carry out daily program by assisting Lead Teacher and Teacher as needed.
• Helps Lead Teacher and Teacher guide children toward individual goals and assess strengths and needs.
• Assists in activities of the children and ensures appropriate child guidance and ratios are maintained at all times.
• Attends mandated trainings and pursues professional development as tracked in Gateways.
