Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak in English.
• One year of general experience working with children.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform related physical tasks.
• Ability to pass Tier 1 background investigation and Civilian Medical Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes early childhood education experiences to promote children's development.
• Collaborates with the director and teachers to implement age-appropriate curriculum.
• Maintains a safe, positive program environment and supports interactions among children and staff.
• Assists in organizing and leading planned activities for participants.
• Monitors children in classroom, playground, and other areas to ensure safety.
• Completes daily reports and maintains program participation data.
• Other duties as assigned.
