Trinity School for Children in Tampa seeks a Full-time Early Childhood Associate Teacher to join our team. The role supports children ages two through five and runs Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm, with opportunities to earn hours toward staff credentials such as CDA.

We provide a premier educational environment with PBS-based practices and ongoing coaching to support professional growth and a collaborative community of families and staff.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Two years post-secondary education; preferred.
• One year experience working with children; preferred.
• Willingness to complete 45-hour DCF training within one year.
• Pre-employment checks include reference checks, drug screen, and background check ($95).

Responsabilidades

Salary Range: $16.50 To $18.00 Hourly

Trinity School for Children in Tampa, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Early Childhood team! We provide a premier educational experience for Early Childhood students ages infant through Pre-K.

We are adding full-time, year-round Early Childhood Associate Teachers to our Early Childhood team with positions starting NOW!

Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm

Position Summary

Help to implement learning experiences that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children within a safe, healthy learning environment. In this role you will care for children, ages two through five. Trinity offers a great learning environment to build your career in education. Earn hours towards your Staff Credential, CDA, or CDA equivalent!

Essential Functions

• Supervision- Continuously monitors the children at all times to ensure safety.
• Care for children- Supporting diapering, potty-learning; independent-feeding for toddlers and young children.
• Interaction with children- Use appropriate language and positive behavior support; model appropriate behavior; treat all children with dignity and respect.
• Communication- Maintains confidentiality of program and client related information.
• Classroom maintenance- Help to maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
• Collaboration- Interacts and maintains effective relationships with children, coworkers, parents, and administration.
• Physical expectation- Able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit on the floor, lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

We provide ongoing training and coaching of PBS, with members of our PBS Leadership Team serving as coaches and mentors.

PWPBS is a conceptual model of evidence-based practices, called The Pyramid Model. The Pyramid Model promotes young children's (birth to five years old) social-emotional competence and prevents and addresses challenging behavior, through a tiered promotion, prevention, intervention framework.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of post-secondary education; preferred
• One (1) year of experience working with children; preferred
• Willingness to complete Department of Children and Families (DCF) mandatory 45-hour introductory training within one-year of employment in a childcare setting
• Pre-employment requirements include satisfactory reference checks, drug screen (employer paid), and criminal background check ($95)
