Job summary

Trinity School for Children in Tampa seeks a Full-time Early Childhood Associate Teacher to join our team. The role supports children ages two through five and runs Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm, with opportunities to earn hours toward staff credentials such as CDA.

We provide a premier educational environment with PBS-based practices and ongoing coaching to support professional growth and a collaborative community of families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Two years post-secondary education; preferred.
• One year experience working with children; preferred.
• Willingness to complete 45-hour DCF training within one year.
• Pre-employment checks include reference checks, drug screen, and background check ($95).

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times to ensure safety.
• Care for children including diapering, potty-learning and feeding.
• Interact with children using appropriate language and positive behavior support.
• Maintain confidentiality of program and client information.
• Keep learning environment clean and organized.
• Collaborate with children, coworkers, parents and administration.
• Assist with physical activities and mobility up to 40 pounds.
