Job summary

One Vision is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Clear Lake, IA for a full‑time back‑end schedule of 12‑hour shifts. The role offers 36 hours per week across three days with Saturdays included and four days off.

No prior healthcare experience is required; paid training and the tools to succeed are provided. Join a team dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities live more independently and stay connected to their communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with mobility as needed.
• Ability to use basic technology for electronic documentation.
• Must complete required background checks and health screenings.
• Must complete required training and certifications, provided by One Vision.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities and community participation.
• Assist with cooking, personal care, laundry, and household tasks.
• Help individuals build independence and confidence.
• Provide transportation using approved vehicles.
• Assist with medications according to training and procedures.
• Support grocery shopping and personal finances.
• Complete electronic documentation.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with those you support.
