Job summary

One Vision is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Clear Lake, IA for a full-time front-end schedule with three 12-hour shifts. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence and participate in their community.

No experience is required; paid training is provided. This role includes Sunday work plus two days between Monday and Wednesday, totaling 36 hours per week, with four days off. Salary starts at $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with mobility as needed
• Ability to use basic technology for electronic documentation
• Must complete required background checks and health screenings
• Must complete required training and certifications, provided by One Vision

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence and participate in their community
• Assist with daily activities such as cooking, personal care, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide transportation using approved vehicles and accompany individuals on outings
• Assist with medications according to training and procedures
• Complete electronic documentation and maintain records
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with the people you support
