Job summary

One Vision is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Clear Lake, IA for a full-time night schedule. The role includes 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with Saturdays and two additional nights among Sunday–Tuesday.

Paid training is provided, no prior healthcare experience required, and you will support individuals with disabilities in building independence. You may work as part of a team to assist with daily activities, community outings, transportation, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with mobility.
• Ability to use basic technology for electronic documentation.
• Must complete required background checks and health screenings.
• Must complete required training and certifications, provided by One Vision.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence and participate in their community.
• Assist with daily activities such as cooking, personal care, laundry, and household tasks.
• Help individuals build independence and confidence.
• Go on community outings, appointments, and events.
• Provide transportation using approved vehicles.
• Assist with medications according to training and procedures.
• Support grocery shopping and personal finances.
• Complete electronic documentation.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with the people you support.
