AAA Driving School in California is hiring a Full-Time Driver Training Instructor to guide students through practical driving lessons and safety-focused training. You will use our curriculum and software to monitor progress, assess performance, and provide personalized coaching.

A company vehicle is provided, and licensing support is offered. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid license with a clean record, 5+ years driving experience, a DMV-licensed instructor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain state-issued Driving School Instructor license.
• Minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
• Background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages following AAA’s curriculum.
• Use driving school software to track and manage student progress.
• Assess student performance and provide personalized guidance.
• Stay current on safe/defensive driving practices and complete state docs.
• Travel within 50 miles as needed; company vehicle, paid gas and insurance.
