Job summary

Quinnipiac University’s School of Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time, open-rank, clinical core faculty to support the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. The role involves developing and serving within a CAPTE-accredited DPT program and teaching entry-level DPT students in orthopedic content.

Responsibilities include implementing teaching strategies, contributing to accreditation, and maintaining a scholarly agenda in clinical outcomes or teaching.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clinical doctorate DPT from a CAPTE accredited program.
• Active CT licensure (or eligible) and APTA membership.
• Demonstrated teaching ability and use of instructional technology.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission and goals of Quinnipiac University and the PT Department.
• Develop and monitor teaching strategies and course design for accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with orthopedic curriculum faculty to promote excellence.
• Cultivate a scholarly agenda related to clinical outcomes or teaching scholarship.
• Contribute to program quality through teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Engage in professional development aligned with the DPT Program.
