Job summary

Rocking Horse Community Health Center in Springfield, Ohio, seeks a licensed Doula to support patients during labor and immediately after delivery. You will work with the OB team, newborn coordinator, and social services to ensure compassionate, culturally competent care and advocacy.

The ideal candidate is certified per the Ohio Board of Nursing rules, has training in bias and health disparities, and can navigate Medicaid billing. This is a salaried, exempt, full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Doula per Ohio Board of Nursing rules.
• Training in racial bias, health disparities, and cultural competency.
• Experience or familiarity with Medicaid billing processes.
• Ability to use Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Criminal records check completed per board rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide intrapartum support to patients during labor and delivery.
• Educate families about newborn care prior to delivery.
• Coordinate with the Newborn Coordinator and Social Services to address social needs and advocacy.
