Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial dishwashing equipment according to safety standards.
• Scrape, wash, rinse, sanitize, and stack dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans efficiently.
• Ensure clean items are properly dried, organized, and restored to designated storage locations for front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floor surfaces throughout the kitchen and dish pit areas.
• Empty trash cans, recyclables, and compost bins regularly, disposing of waste in designated external areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks or light cleaning duties during peak or downtime hours as requested.
• Comply with all health department regulations, food safety standards, and safety precautions.

As a vital member of our back-of-house operations, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitizing cookware, dishes, and utensils, and ensuring the kitchen area remains clean, safe, and efficient.
