Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time work in New Jersey. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges in home and community settings, helping them achieve personal goals with empathy and respect.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will promote wellness, assist with daily living, accompany clients in community activities, and document services accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment screening.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in identifying and communicating needs for services.
• Promote healthy lifestyle and wellness practices.
• Foster self-advocacy and personal decision-making.
• Accompany individuals in community activities to promote social engagement.
• Teach and support independent living skills.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and community engagements.
• Document all services to ensure accurate records.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety guidelines.
