RHA Health Services, LLC in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide personalized support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and mental health/substance use challenges. You will help participants express needs, implement person-centered plans, and foster independence in daily living.

The DSP will accompany individuals to work and social activities, assist with personal care and transportation, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Knowledge of disability rights and community integration.

Responsabilités

• Advocate for individuals’ human, legal, and civil rights.
• Promote health and safety by supporting wellness initiatives.
• Encourage self-advocacy and empower individuals in decision-making.
• Facilitate community engagement by accompanying individuals to work and activities.
• Assist with personal care tasks and daily living skills.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of provided services.
