Job summary

Arc Of Greater Prince William is seeking a Full-Time Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in our Dumfries-area group home. The role is a 30-hour/week evening shift (Thu–Sat, 10 PM–8 AM) in Woodbridge, VA, with an hourly rate of $18.70 and a requirement for female staff due to client needs.

Responsibilities include caregiving, helping with daily living activities, safe transportation, and supporting clients to achieve personal goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges, or transferrable skills.
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Ability to pass required trainings
• A Valid driver’s license, minimum three-year acceptable driving record and reliable transportation;
• A High school diploma or GED;
• Flexibility, positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiving and support to individuals living with developmental disabilities in group homes.
• Assist with daily living activities and community outings.
• Transport individuals using agency vehicles and ensure safety.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive living environment.

Skills
