Job summary

John Knox Village is hiring for a Courtyard Cafe & Coffee Shoppe role. The position is full-time, 80 hours per pay period, with outlets ranging from Fireside to Metropolitan, offering flexible hours and opportunity to earn tips in a vibrant senior living community.

As a Dining Services Associate, you will host, take orders, serve meals, and help with setup and cleanup. Requires 18+, Class E license, and a Food Handler Permit within 15 days.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age and have a Class E Driver's License.
• Education: high school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain Jackson County Food Handler Permit within 15 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and cleans the assigned dining areas.
• Relay orders to kitchen and serves food.
• Performs food preparation.
• May be responsible for cash handling and point of sales use.
• Observes residents and responds to additional needs.
• Maintains acceptable standards of workplace conduct.
