Job summary

John Knox Village is seeking staff for its dining outlets to provide hospitable service in a dynamic residential setting. You will assist with hosting, setting up dining spaces, taking orders, and serving while ensuring quality food handling and safety.

The role may involve cash handling and POS use, working irregular hours, and interacting with a diverse resident community. Training hours and PRIDE values guide daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain Jackson County Food Handler Permit within 15 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and cleans the assigned dining areas.
• Relay orders to kitchen and serves food.
• Performs food preparation.
• May be responsible for cash handling and point of sale use.
• Observes residents and responds to additional needs.
• Maintains acceptable standards of workplace conduct.
• Follows safety regulations and requirements.
