Responsibilities include managing orders, assisting with meal prep under guidance, ensuring beverage quality, handling resident requests, and maintaining logs. Requires a HS diploma and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, plus required certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination.
• Certifications: Must obtain and maintain any required local or state food handling, supervision, or sanitation certifications.

Responsibilities

• Order Management: Take orders, relay to kitchen, deliver meals promptly.
• Resident Interaction: Respond to resident and guest requests, ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure beverages and orders meet quality standards (temperature, appearance, doneness).
• Community Concerns: Address dining room issues and escalate to management when needed.
• Meal Preparation Support: Assist with meal prep and assembly under Cook/Manager guidance.
• Food Safety & Storage: Label, date, store food properly, dispose waste per standards.
• Dining Room Maintenance: Keep dining area clean, set tables, restock supplies.
• Temperature Logging: Complete logs during each shift for safety compliance.
• Order Handling: Help receive, stock, and organize deliveries.
