Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 6–12 months in food service preferred.
• Certifications: Obtain and maintain local/state food handling or sanitation certifications.

Responsibilities

• Take and relay food and beverage orders, deliver meals promptly to residents and guests.
• Respond to resident and guest requests in a timely manner and engage with diners to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure beverages and orders meet quality standards, including temperature, appearance, and doneness.
• Address dining room issues or concerns and escalate to management when necessary.
• Assist with meal preparation and assembly under supervision, following recipes and guidelines.
• Label and date food items, store properly, dispose of waste, and follow sanitation standards.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and restock supplies, set tables, clear dishes.
• Complete temperature logs during each shift to ensure safety standards.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food deliveries as needed.

Education
