Job summary

Sun Mar Health Care is seeking an experienced Dietary Supervisor to lead the Food Services department at Villa Del Sol Post-Acute in California. The role includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality nutrition, and coordinating with nursing and other departments to meet resident needs.

The position requires 6 months in a dietary role, strong decision-making, and effective communication. Full-time hours, on-site location, and a commitment to quality care and hospitality are expected.

Qualifications

• Independent decision-making when required.

• Basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Effective communication with team and guests.
• 1–3 months related experience or training in a dietary role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct in-service training for the Food Services team.
• Coordinate food services with Nursing, Environmental, Activity and Social Services as needed.
• Prepare reports to Dietitian/Administrator on department operations.
• Process diet changes and new diets requested by nursing services.

We are looking for an experience Dietary Supervisor - Full Time.

As Supervisor of Food Services, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Development of and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely in-service training classes that provide instructions on "how to do the job," and that ensure a well-educated Food Services Department.
• Coordinating food services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Nursing, Environmental, Activity and Social Services, etc.).
• Written and oral reports/recommendations to the Dietitian and/or Administrator as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Food Services Department
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services.
