Job summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Dietary Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nutrition and dietary management, along with the necessary certification to excel in this vital role. The Dietary Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the dietary department, ensuring that residents receive nutritious meals that cater to their individual dietary needs and preferences.

Responsibilities:

Oversee meal preparation and service in adherence to dietary guidelines and regulations.

Develop and implement menus tailored to residents with diverse dietary needs.

Assess residents' nutritional needs in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Ensure rigorous compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Manage dietary staff, including comprehensive responsibilities for hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Monitor food production to uphold stringent quality and presentation standards.

Maintain accurate records of dietary services, inventory, and nutrient analysis.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in dietary management within a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.

Comprehensive knowledge of nutrition, dietary guidelines, and food service regulations.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and foster staff development.

Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, enabling effective management of multiple tasks.

Proficiency in utilizing dietary software and food service systems for menu planning and inventory control.

Outstanding communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
