Job summary

SUN MAR HEALTH CARE in Anaheim seeks an experienced Dietary Supervisor to lead the Food Services team at our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee daily operations, ensure dietary plans are followed, and collaborate with Nursing and Administration to deliver high‑quality meals and a compassionate guest experience.

The full‑time role requires 6 months in a dietary position, strong math skills for diet changes, the ability to interpret policies, and clear written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 6 months in a dietary position.
• Able to interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Communicate effectively.
• 1-3 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Development of and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely in-service training classes that provide instructions on “how to do the job,” and that ensure a well-educated Food Services Department.
• Coordinating food services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Nursing, Environmental, Activity and Social Services, etc.).
• Written and oral reports/recommendations to the Dietitian and/or Administrator as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Food Services Department
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services.
• Requires knowledge of special diets.
