Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, hospital, restaurant, or commercial kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow therapeutic and modified diets.
• Food Handler Card preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and prescribed diets.
• Follow therapeutic, modified, and special diet requirements as directed.
• Ensure meals are properly portioned, prepared, and served on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.
• Follow all applicable food safety regulations.
