Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and safe handling.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus and dietary instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing and properly portioned.
• Follow prescribed diets and texture modifications.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and sanitation standards.
• Keep kitchen and prep areas clean and organized.
• Monitor supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Coordinate with dietary staff to serve meals on schedule.
• Follow infection control procedures and regulations.
• Minimize waste while maintaining quality and portions.
• Support dietary team in delivering excellent resident service.
