Job summary

Hill Valley Healthcare in Washington state is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents, ensuring flavor and dietary accuracy across menus.

You will supervise kitchen operations in the absence of leadership, coordinate food and supply needs for normal and special diets, and maintain a clean, well-presented dining experience for all residents.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma preferred, or ability to read and write English effectively.
• Experience: Previous culinary experience is a plus.
• Knowledge: Proficient in preparing and cooking various foods, awareness of special diets, temperatures, and waste minimization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the manager.
• Receive reports on meals for normal and special diets, coordinate food and supply requirements.
• Adhere to special diet orders and use approved substitutions.
• Follow food production plans to ensure quality and presentation.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals in coordination with meal times.
