Job Title: DevOps SME/Architect

Location: Reston, VA 5 Days Onsite

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

MUST HAVE SKILLS: Terraform, GitLab, UCD, Programming (Java, Python, YAML, GoLang), AWS

Responsibilities

• Over 15 years of experience in design and implement enterprise-grade DevOps architectures with a focus on scalability, security, and automation.
• Develop and manage Terraform modules for provisioning cloud infrastructure across AWS environments.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into Java and Python-based applications.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using YAML, Golang, and other relevant languages.
• Ensure infrastructure and application deployments are secure, repeatable, and compliant with best practices.
• Lead performance tuning, monitoring, and incident response strategies across environments.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry trends.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD and UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, YAML, and Golang scripting.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
