Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Full-Stack Engineer to design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and applications in a secure environment. The role emphasizes IaC (Terraform/Helm), Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and robust CI/CD pipelines.

Strong scripting, database management and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential. Candidates should have extensive cloud experience, be capable of ownership, and meet security clearance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience with AWS and deploying secure, scalable systems.
• Proficiency with IaC and automation tooling.
• Experience with Linux scripting and RDBMS management.
• Familiarity with networking and observability tooling.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for government contracts.

Job description

• You will play a key role in building, maintaining, securing and deploying scalable cloud infrastructure and systems
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
• Automate deployment, scaling and monitoring of systems on that infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Build and manage containerized applications
• Provision and support configuration of relational databases with an emphasis on high availability, security and reliability
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability
• Contribute to the creation and operation of robust disaster recovery and backup strategies
• Manage developer tooling
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, compliance and security frameworks
• (Optionally) develop and support full stack Java-based applications

We’re looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in IaC (Terraform), Helm, MySQL, Kubernetes, and CI/CD PipelinesExperience with Linux including scripting (Bash)Experience with RDBMS systems including managing schema evolution, migration, replication and disaster recovery (MySQL or similar)Experience designing and deploying solutions to cloud environments (AWS)Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps)Experience with containers and container orchestration tooling (Kubernetes / Helm / Docker)Experience with DVCS tooling (Git, GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps)Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform or similar)Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learningAbility to take ownership of problems and deliver complete solutionsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract8+ years of cloud infrastructure experienceAND 2+ year of Kubernetes and Docker experienceAND 5+ years of software engineering/development experienceExperience with AI/machine learning technologies is strongly preferredFamiliarity with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting tools (WireShark, TCPDump, SNGrep, nslookup)Experience with SIP/RTPAwareness of compliance frameworks (e.g. FedRAMP, CCCS)Experience with developer tooling (Artifactory, Sonar, Gradle)Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK Stack or similar)Knowledge of secure coding practices, security frameworks, and tooling (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS, Prisma Cloud/Twistlock, Mend/WhiteSource)
