Qualifications

• Experience preferred with people with developmental disabilities (DD) or mental illness (MI).
• Must pass a criminal background check and various registry checks.
• Must complete CPR, 1st Aid, CPI, and DSP training within the first 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist clients in engaging in work and alternative activities.
• Monitor client progress and behavior, providing feedback as needed.
• Prepare and maintain work or activity areas before, during, and after shifts.
• Complete daily documentation and data entry.
• Assist with daily living activities and community outings.

Skills

Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities

Basic computer operating skills

Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
