Job summary

GardaWorld Federal Services is seeking a Laundry Staff Member to support detention facility laundry operations. You will process, clean, organize, and distribute linens, uniforms, and bedding while following sanitation procedures in a secure environment.

Responsibilities include operating industrial laundry equipment, maintaining inventory, and coordinating delivery/pickup throughout the facility. A minimum of one year of laundry experience and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant professional laundry experience is preferred.
• Must provide proof of citizenship or legal US work authorization.
• Must consent to fingerprinting and background check.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, sort, and distribute linens, uniforms, towels, and resident clothing.
• Operate industrial washers, dryers, presses, and laundry equipment safely.
• Maintain inventory tracking for laundry items and issued materials.
• Inspect items for damage or contamination and report deficiencies.
• Follow infection prevention and sanitation procedures.
• Keep laundry areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup of laundry throughout the facility.
• Report equipment issues or shortages promptly.
