Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant at our Marlton Office. You will assist physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, manage patient records, and support the team in delivering high-quality care.

Qualified candidates have dermatology experience, healthcare background, and preferably national certification as a Medical Assistant. Proficiency with EMR, Word, Excel and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions and prior authorizations within guidelines.
• Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the start of each shift.
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.
