Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for an experienced, registered hygienist. You will work with Dr. Ryan O’Malley and be responsible for:

1. Providing direct patient preventive dental care, including cleaning, polishing, scaling, root planing, examining for oral diseases, and educating patients on oral health.
2. Preparing patients for dental treatments and educating them on oral hygiene and dental concerns.
3. Addressing laboratory issues, ensuring cleanliness of treatment and sterilization areas.
4. Documenting dental services, vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient records.
5. Serving as an infection control officer, implementing protocols, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
6. Participating in training sessions, workshops, reviewing publications, and engaging in professional societies.
