Key Responsibilities

• Perform hygiene procedures such as oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride applications, oral cancer screenings, and taking x-rays.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene importance, providing instructions and demonstrations for effective practices.
• Communicate with the dentist regarding patients' restorative and periodontal needs.
• Review and update dental and health histories for all patients.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
• X-Ray/Radiology Certification as per state regulations.
• Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification if required by state regulations.

Working Environment & Physical Requirements
