Job summary

River Valley Family Health Centers is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Montrose and Delta, CO. You will support dentists, prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and assist during procedures while maintaining accurate patient records in EMR.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience as a Dental Assistant preferred or completed accredited program; willing to complete within 12 months.
• Knowledge of public health principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for visit, sterilize instruments, set up trays, assist dentist.
• Take medical and dental histories and vital signs; record in EMR.
• Polish or help restore teeth as directed.
• Provide postoperative instructions and oral hygiene guidance.
• Assist with inventory management and travel between clinics as needed.
