The Dental Assistant supports dentists in delivering high-quality oral care by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during procedures. Responsibilities include taking dental impressions and X-rays, maintaining patient records, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. The Dental Assistant also helps manage inventory and supplies and may provide patients with post-treatment instructions. The Dental Assistant position is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position; 40 hours per week. We are a growing, exciting place to work, serving our community in a variety of ways. This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are exposed to blood, body fluids, and other occupational hazards, and are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine.
