LSS is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Minnesota. You will build relationships, provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and promote independence for up to 4 residents in a residential setting.

Position includes a starting wage of $16.00 per hour, potential raise to $16.50 after six months, and a $1500 hiring bonus. Shifts cover mornings, with training and growth opportunities across services within LSS.

Qualificações

• Must have genuine heart for helping others and work toward person-centered care.
• No prior experience or formal education required; training provided.
• Basic computer skills to document care and stay connected with the team.
• Ability to read and write in English for clear communication.
• A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; DHS background check required.

Responsabilidades

• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills.
• Advocate for rights, needs, and preferences of people served.
• Monitor health and well-being; report changes as needed.
• Complete documentation and participate in training and team meetings.
• Work in a residential group home environment serving up to 4 people.
• Collaborate with a mission-driven team focused on dignity, respect, and inclusion.

Pay:

• $16.00/hr!
• Upon completion of six months of consistent employment, there is an opportunity to obtain a wage increase to $16.50/hr!
• $1500 Hiring Bonus*

Shifts:

• Monday-7:00am-3:00pm
• Thursday-6:30am-2:30pm
• Friday-7:00am-3:00pm
• Saturday/Sunday-6:30am-2:30pm
• Monday-6:30am-2:30am
• Tuesday-7:00am-3:00pm

What You’ll Do:

• Build meaningful relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene needs, meals, household support/cleaning, and transportation
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills
• Advocate for people with identified needs’ rights, needs, and preferences
• Monitor health and well‑being and report changes as needed
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and team meetings
• Residential group home setting supporting up to 4 people with identified needs
