Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with identified needs live more independently through person-centered care and daily living assistance in a residential setting.

No prior experience or formal education is required; training is provided. Pay starts at $16.00/hour with a raise after six months and a $1,500 hiring bonus. Shifts include 8am-9pm, 9am-9pm, and 10am-6pm, with benefits for 30+ hours.

Responsabilités

• Build meaningful relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene needs, meals, housing support/cleaning, and transportation.
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills.
• Advocate for people’s rights, needs, and preferences.
• Monitor health and wellbeing and report changes as needed.
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and team meetings.

Looking for a job where you can make a real difference every day? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at LSS, you’ll support people with identified needs as they pursue their hopes, dreams, and goals through personcentered care.

Pay:

• $16.00/hr!
• Upon completion of six months of consistent employment, there is an opportunity to obtain a wage increase to $16.50/hr!
• $1,500 Hiring Bonus!*

Shifts:

• 8am-9pm
• 9a-9p
• 10a-6p & e/o F 10-6

What You’ll Do:

• Build meaningful relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene needs, meals, household support/cleaning, and transportation
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills
• Advocate for people with identified needs' rights, needs, and preferences
• Monitor health and wellbeing and report changes as needed
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and team meetings

Work Environment:

• Residential group home setting supporting up to 4 people with identified needs
