Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a phlebotomist to collect blood specimens from patients using proper technique in a day-shift, full-time role.

You will follow infection control policies, acknowledge patients with courteous service, and participate in orientation and continuing education. The position requires a high school diploma; CPR preferred, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Familiarity with science courses and/or phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens from patients using proper technique.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control policies and procedures.
• Acknowledges patients using appropriate customer service techniques.
• Must remain in full time status for six months.
