Job summary

Academies of Math and Science is seeking a dependable Day Porter / Custodian to support the Power Campus in Mesa. You will keep classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas clean and safe throughout the school day, with attention to detail and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years custodial experience, can operate vacuums and floor care equipment, and works well in a busy school environment. This on-site role offers full-time hours and competitive pay in Mesa, AZ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years custodial or facilities experience.
• Ability to operate custodial equipment safely.
• Familiarity with SDS and safe chemical handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors; collect trash.
• Support daily campus operations and events.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain campus safety and security procedures.
